Herbicide Application in the Central Texas Post Oak Savannah

Due to fire suppression and other human impacts, unnatural thickets of yaupon holly and other woody plants are overwhelming the Post Oak Savannah of Central Texas and causing declines its native wildlife, including Houston toads, turkey, and quail. In this video, we discuss some common approaches for treating this woody plant encroachment, especially after large scale mulching projects.
